The 1800s called and want their comments back. Ai can't make art just like a camera doesn't take photographs on its own. The reason there's not a lot of good Ai art is the same reason most people don't make good art. Not a lot of picassos running around. And also why Van Gogh died broke. He was ahead of his time and most people didnt get it yet. They legitimately said exactly this commentary in the 1800s about player pianos and camera ruining art. "Can computers make art?" Is a pretty good essay on this subject.
