For as much work as it takes to make an image, trust me i know i made Ai art myself using comfyui,Controlnet,IPAdapter and various other methods which some times take up to 72 hours of just tweaking to get it right. I want my art and the entire process i use to make it to be open, Because frankly i do not own the rights to the image. The whole spirit of this world of art is to share how you make it so other people can use it to make other things. The moment people started monetizing it is when it went wrong. People that enter prompts in chatgtp or stable diffusion == users. People that heavily influence the generation process by making sketches for the model to interpret, Tweaking controlnet models to influence composition, do post processing and touchups in photoshop, Train their own lora's, experiment with parameters are artists , Because at that point it becomes a tool, a brush so to speak. These are different kinds of artist, It went wrong the moment people started to assume they were one of the same kind. This is more like comparing the art of Welding/Programming to the art of painting, they are fundamentally different. Im sick of people like Jason Allen PRETENDING to be traditional artists instead of accepting the craft they chose and using it responsibly.
