That's not AI's fault. It's just natural selection at work. Nature doesn't do favors, it just lets the consequences happen. It's we, humans, who do a lot of work against this kind of sanitation, that's why we infested the planet with more than 4 billions specimens that wouldn't have survived unassisted. That's how unfitted genes proliferate. Not even 200 years ago, this kind of self-sanitation of our species was still present.
