I've been debating whether to focus my education on entering a job in software engineering, but I fervently believe that it would be foolish. As you stated, the more security will be found in the more advanced, creative, and indispensable of programmers so I think that (given there are already layoffs for the lesser workers) I would be hard pressed to find a job willing to take me in as an entry level developer when the ones who are overseeing the AI will be the more experienced developers. I don't see any well-paying job welcoming me in the next 3 years when I am ready to enter the job market, and it really fills me with dread thinking about the uncertainty of my future. This all to say, would you recommend pursuing software engineering specifically or perhaps a different branch of tech job such as cybersecurity (which I am leaning towards)
