Son of a gun! This is exactly the way I home educated my four children (who were 10 years apart from youngest to the oldest) up until they were to high school age. The time for core academic block time and life skills got longer as they hit middle school age. But we didnt use an AI app, though. Never heard of the "Pomodora Method". Did lean heavily into the Charlotte Mason Method and used "living books" and Maria Montessori when they were the "littles".
That was over twenty years ago, my youngest graduated in 2020. It worked!
