I don't wanna be too pedantic here, but if you did a study where you showed the participants a piece of ai art and asked them if they liked it, and the majority told you that they did, how would you then determine if they're wrong? Because there is no scientific standard for good art, in the same way there is if someone told me they can fly, we could test it by me shoving them out of a plane and seeing if they fall to the ground and die. I would have definitive proof. This is what I think people usually mean when they claim that "Art is subjective". It's not a that they have no standards (although they might not), but it's that they don't know how to grade art in a way where the majority of people would agree and where those results would be definitive. A lot of people like a lot of shitty media that I don't, and I don't really think I can prove that I'm right in thinking that they're wrong for enjoying it.
