I think that it's wrong for someone to make something with AI and then claim that they made it, however if it is made fully aware that it's an AI image then I don't really see a problem with it. Personally I've messed around with it and made a few lil scenic pictures with that I use for profile banners and my phone wallpaper, but anything else I do art related is made myself.
