I thought Tesla self-driving didn't work—and certainly it didn't until recently, and the marketing was misleading, etc—but I'm visiting my friend this week in NYC who has a latest-generation Tesla, and he almost never has to touch the wheel—whether in the city or the suburbs. We had a 3-hour drive, and the Tesla did literally all of it. That definitely made an impression on me.
