This is the fourth video I have watched concerning UBI. None of these explain how UBI would work when capitalism itself fails because of artificial intelligence taking 85% of all jobs as well as robots doing physical labor and taking away jobs. All these videos start at the assumption that there is still an economy up and working. What do we do when there are no more jobs and they are not coming back ???? perhaps there are 400 plumbers positions open nationwide and that's it. How will the public feed itself? Put clothing on our backs.? put roofs over our heads etc., etc. When capitalism fails entirely... by then all goods will be made by robots and AI, but where will we get the money to purchase the goods? This is an EXISTENTIAL problem we faced within the next five years. Yet no one's working on the solution.
