Utter nonsense, a bit like what the Nobel Prize itself has become. Geoffrey Hinton is high on his own supply. Like most of commercial A.I's hype, these claims are distorted and completely over-inflated. The ceiling on current technical approaches to AI is visible and it's a big bubble that will burst sooner or later. The first to pop will probably be OpenAI, and with their diminishing returns on huge investment.
