This reminds me of Brennan Lee Mulligan's conversation with someone regarding coffee shop workers. We all agree coffee shops should exist because we like it, and if we want it to exist we should want it so that anyone who works there to have dignity, comfort, and respect. If you're on the side that thinks coffee shop employees should find another job because it's not a respectable career and by extention if you are someone who thinks artists should accept being displaced by Ai's plagiarism BUT ENJOY ART or anything to do with the visual arts, then you're bad. If you still think art SHOULD exist because you enjoy it, but then expect artists to accept having their work, their soul stolen in favour of getting "better products" then you need to seriously rethink some things.
