AI "artists" most likely don't even know why most, if not all, artists create anything. When I was a teenager I would create "emotional art" that would (yes admittedly be angsty but) be filled with symbolism of what I was going through mentally. How it would affect my body and how it would make me feel. There's no feeling in this AI "art". There's no emotion. There's no reason other than to generate something simply to exist. Simply existing has almost never been the point of art. Even if you asked an artist why they did "a little doodle". The verbal reason might be "Just because!" But the reasoning inside would most likely be happiness. Real art has a reason to exist. AI "art" does not. (imo)
