As much as I dislike the degree to which we've automated already and are pushing ahead even further, ditching women from the workplace would be a good thing, because it would finally incentivize them to have children and allow for them to care for home, just like in 1950s. Key here, however, is to make sure people have sufficient income, meaning we'd have to create new ways of taxing thre rich based on at the time current dependency rate.
