10 years is a lie, this will be the reality unless than 5. Some a hole is going to merge quantum computing with an AI (if they haven't yet) and then game over. There will be no hiding or going off grid. If the ai wants to end humanity at best we will be like an ant hill and they will be a kid with gas and matches .
