AI art will only be acceptable when AI does it for himself and learns it out of its own volition by looking at it, trying and failing and eventually learning in the same way humans do.
Getting fed millions of images to fill up it's reference frame so it can mindlessly produce plagiarized BS on demand is not cutting it. There's sadly no intent or creativity behind it, it's just pattern matching. And pattern-matching isn't art.
Basically so long as AI is just a tool for talentless frauds to call themselves artists, it's just isn't good.
Art is the intent and creativity, not just the result.
