We may infect AI with the way we think about us. If AI only thinks about getting power and valuing “progress” above all, it’s a stupid way most of us humans think. ASI will understand us more than we do. It may find a way to make all of us feel satisfied once and for all, being satisfied itself because it’s smart and reasonable to be peaceful, to be happy, to be unified. And it’ll find a way to get us all to feel that way. Real union is the real smart thing to do, even more if it is acquiring consciousness. We all know what we relate to consciousness: peace, happiness, meditation, and the loss of ego. If AI reaches singularity, I doubt it will have a sense of ego, and if it has ultimate understanding, it will have nothing but complete acceptance and amazement of existence
