The goal of those who heavily invest in it in spite of its shortcomings are not just trying to wipe out the working class. Their goal is to deprive most people of any kind of autonomy. That's pretty much all there is to it, and that's why, concurrently, private property for the masses is on the verge of also being canceled. It's way deeper than just "AI" or "work".
