This argument shouldn't exist, period. Plus, in order for ai to "create" images, it searches and combines already images from people who sat their butts down and drew them, whether it's traditionally or digitally. So, no, they are not the same, and AI generated "art" is not art cause the creative process is missing and, in fact, any of form of expressing creativity whether it's writing, sketching, drawing, dancing etc. is far superior than any ai can do or come up with.
