AI is a cash grab attention seeking tool for the talentless. They generate images with incorrect anatomy, blatantly steal IP to create a clothing brand or prints to unaware buyers. What’s even more sad is some buyers don’t even care. Meanwhile online marketplaces are flooded with AI garbage pushing legit artists to the bottom. To add insult to injury, you upload an original Image to Pinterest only to be flagged as AI or AI modified. When you try to appeal such claims Pinterest responds “Our AI detection isn’t perfect” and the flag remains. Basically TSOL. I guess the only saving grace is that most AI abusers dont know how to correct the mistakes. I recently saw Graphic Design jobs are #11 on the career decline list. People say “AI doesn’t affect jobs. We’ll just see in 10 years. I’ve been an illustrator before PCs and Adobe was available to consumers. Tech changes everything.
