As a young man I received an education in shoveling dirt. I learned how to be efficient in my movement and hand placement to resist blistering. The thought that there is nothing to learn by shoveling dirt is complete BS! I learned what I could accomplish if I simply got to work, how effective I could be with a prybar to move boulders, angle of repose, safety, soil types........ Lessons I am thankful for as a 50yr old man.
