If I used nothing but a human secretary to communicate with other people, no one would feel connected to me. They might perhaps feel connected to that secretary, but not me. No one would feel like they're talking to me, or that they truly know me. That's why it's always considered a positive if a politician or celebrity interacts with average people directly and in a similar way to said average person (such as Henry Cavill nerding out over Warhammer 40K). Human connection is a substantial part of the value of things like storytelling, art, and just talking and socializing. Art is indeed another form of human connection, and artists connect to other people (and other people to artists) through that art. I've found AI generated videos, pictures, and even parts of songs that I certainly didn't think were bad. There have been and currently are people who use AI to help them write and perform songs here on YouTube, for example. But for all of the spectacle, one thing is for certain: I don't feel much of anything because I know the vast majority of the skill behind that "art" is just a crappy robot secretary. No, I'm not impressed by your song where the majority of it isn't even something you did or even necessarily thought up. I don't care if it "accelerates your creative process." You decided that the best you could do is to repost something else's production and outsource human connection to your robot slave. You decided your audience wasn't worth your actual time or effort. You chose to believe that my applause, appreciation, and respect for a genuine artist is not worth your effort, but that you're entitled to it anyway. And now you're mad that the plebs aren't begging your crappy robot secretary for the chance to kiss your boots?
