Man this convo is getting old. Any change gets so much hate, cars, computers, Uber, 3D animation, Chess computers… it’s happening and instead of whining we should start including AI in our workflows. I thing it’s fair use, and it’s the exact same thing we’ve been doing for centuries as he mentioned. Also, lets say that companies start making their own art to train AI, is that going to make artists happy now? No! Because they’re still out of a job! And even if we do that, if China still allows their companies to train in any data, US will get far behind. It’s the AI version of go woke go broke.
