The worst part about the Shad M Brooks/Mononoke drama is that his brother is DrawWithJazza. His brother is an actual artist, and a famous one at that and he still lacks such critical understanding of art as a whole. I engaged with this tweet about a month or so ago whenever it was posted, and it's actually insane the stuff that he is saying. Like the objectivity point you made is something he can't even back up, people were challenging him about it in the replies and the first few he gave a mediocre response of "It's just objectively better" or something along those lines and then the rest he just responded with memes about people crying about the AI because that wasn't even his original point. I watched his youtube, Shadiversity for a long time, seeing as he shared a love for history and fantasy like I did, I always found him slightly pompous but this was final nail. He made "points" which he could not back up, discredited real artists and just showcased a general overall lack of understanding about art and AI itself. Super disappointing.
