Lets be clear, the people using ableism as an argument are doing it completely cynically because they are the people that loathe the disabled in the first place. They're annoyed by the idea that they have to care about people who are disadvantaged so they get to kill two birds with one stone by dishonestly using one enemy as a shield against another. You can check any pro-ai person's post history on any social media and 9/10 times you'll find some kind of essentialist, right wing dismissal of any notion of social responsibility for the wellbeing of others. AI bros were always societal parasites and this is simply the most recent blister for them to suck on.
