Whenever I used it, it was to get my own thought process going because I'd get stuck and stress about doing a good job and hitting the deadline. I used it like a tool and not as a replacement for my own thoughts and opinions. My assignment, my effort.
I genuinely couldn't afford to lose my financial aid so I had to use AI. It definitely helped me fully understand the topics (along with my own fact checking). Sometimes even other classmates didn't understand what was going on either.
It's useful, but you still have to do your part to truly earn your grade or praise.
