I used to believe that anyone could learn art. Then I spent 10 years training a few hours a day, putting significant time into all the means that everyone uses--the drawabox, the 100 gesture drawings a day, the anatomy, the brigman--and now I still can't make art, or even really make lines, and every artist is like "yeah, so I couldn't do X so I practiced it for a week and now I can do it." Like I drew pages of just lines and basic shapes for years as a warm up and I still can't make even those. I might have knowledge of proportion and perspective and contrast and other principles, but what does it matter if every line has a 50% chance of being 2 inches away from where I aimed it. Still don't use AI though.
