I've seen Dr. Hinton explain these things many times on many TV shows, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc.; he is always patient and thorough. He's a genuinely brilliant person who also comes across as fun and funny. IMO if he has any faults at all it may be that he simply doesn't sound urgent enough when discussing the potential problems and pitfalls of AI. Kudos to StarTalk for bringing him on as a guest, for posing excellent questions and for providing your viewers with an excellent timely and important conversation. Well done!
