loved the video, i think you would definitely enjoy reading Deep Utopia by Nick Bostrom, he tackles the post-scarcity world, and disects what will happen to humanity when the world is solved by AI + robotics and usher in an era of abundance and post work instrumentality. The thing here is that unlike the previous industrial revolution, capitalism/socialism/communism are no longer applicable as we knew it. we need to fundamentally come up with a new system taking into account the inevitability of AI and robotics solving all our most pressing problems. oh, and a final thought> Please, do not succumb to doomerism. It's easy to complain and doom about the world. but it's harder to come up with solutions while maintaining an unshakeable, nearly delusional optimism. remember, the world was built by optimistic visionaries.
