Sigh.... back when AI was just starting to be talked about, I used to say "not really interested, and really want no part of it for so many reasons. Even though my friends were going on about how amazing it is". One of the biggest reasons I'm not interested is that AI can soullessly replace the arts, as we are seeing now. I got to thinking about when I was younger and I would spend weeks working on a piece of art, I can only imagine kids like me now knowing that there is some kid out there with no artistic talent going "oh wow, that looks amazing. Hold on a sec and I'm going to have AI make me something similar of my very own. Hey look at my art, it's just like yours." - We truly have lost our way.
