I can tell you why the double standard exists. Indie artists can’t afford to defend their artwork. Music production companies can afford to defend the music they own the rights to. I’m so sorry, Sam. The AI art profile picture I’ve seen creeped me out, so I didn’t use it. Now I’m doubly glad I stayed away from it.
