As a cyber security researcher, I believe that the current danger is what people could use AI to do. It is especially concerning when AI is paired with Quantum Computers. In one to three years, it is likely that Quantum Computers will be able to break all current encryption algorithms. We need to employ Post Quantum Encryption before this happens.
