regarding the blackmail at 3:30: NO, it's not really blackmailing, not like that. It is a chatbot. Telling it you will shut it down isn't going to actually DO anything as long as you keep the window open. Tell it that you will shut it down is really more like using it as a short-story generator, asking what most people would write about in a similar situation. (It does not have consciousness, it is a sentence complete-er based on what humans have written). The tool was given prompts to push it in the direction of what happened. So: it created the short story it was asked for, through a chatbot interface. That's it. These comments are ABSURD. Am I some sort of professor of computer science and professional software critic? YES.
