Well there is one example that will prove you wrong. World of Tanks NA. It use to have a lot of people playing it, but the none paying player quit. leaving the paying players and in that type of game if you have a 55% winning rate, you also have to have a 45% winning rate. So that paying player at 45% quits and the numbers just keep falling. The last time I was there they could barely get 15 thousand players. That is in a population of 325 million people in NA. So that idea is a losing proposition. Plus if the rich all have AI's then they can all manufacture everything the other guy can, so why buy it from someone else. Then you throw in that without jobs the poor will be out hustling for money they won't have time for foolish games. Taking away the rich being able to torture the poor. The only thing this will lead to is a large depopulation and the gene pool shrinking leaving the rich to the slow death of inter breeding. But that is my prediction.
