Loved this dialogue Hank. I'm an ai skeptic, who's worked in IT for about 10-15 years at this point.
A few things to ponder, imo. Historically, it seems that 'ai' was mass-launched for "market reasons", which imo isn't inherently <good/great>.
Also, "What even is a sufficiently deep neural network!?"
Really liked how you kinda sidewinded this seemingly great author by 'so we could just sink an LLM via this methodology of thunkin'?', hehe.
