@LJ_Brown Oh, please don't misunderstand. I do believe that everything should always be disclosed. All I'm saying is a poor person having to live at home with their parents and still living paycheck to paycheck, creating something that acts more like a proof of concept to get their project started, and later hiring on people, isn't objectionable to me--provided, again, they disclose the AI use. A good example is that League of Legends' mobile version's China-sided social media (that's a lot, I know) posted a music video a day or so ago. LoL is known for its high-quality CGI music videos. Lots of time and money go into them, because they're a multi-million (if not billion) dollar company. But this one was AI, and not disclosed as such, but wasn't even *good* AI. But even if they had disclosed it, that's objectionable because they literally have FU money, and LoL is a video game. CGI is kind of their thing. Meanwhile, there's an ARG-type account on TikTok (and spreading to other sites) that uses AI to tell a story. As they've made the money, they've been notably trying to hire a team so they can move from their AI use, to real artistry. (I forget the name. Has to do with angels coming to Earth, but nothing is as it seems, that sort of thing. It's a little edgy teenager for me, but the conversion to real art is what I mean.) There should never be a time when it isn't disclosed, and Youtube's bullshit age-detecting AI should be going towards auto-detection of AI content in videos, and their bot issue.
