By 2025, it is highly likely that Meta and other companies will use artificial intelligence (AI) systems that can effectively take on the role of a software engineer. These systems will even be able to perform coding (programming) tasks directly from textual descriptions. At first, implementing this idea may come with costs, but in the future, instead of human engineers, it will be AI robots and engineers who generate and implement application code much faster and more accurately.
