Artificial intelligence is not a new idea. Remember Robot on "Lost in space?" And the computer in Star Trek. Many sci-fi shows in the sixties featured computers you could have a conversation with. So this is something we've been moving toward all this time. But now we get to see the result/consequences of going down this route. But another thing is if we can build it, we must.
