27:20 when an ai expert like this says that "the kind of ai system we are building now, we dont understand how they work" thats a terrible choice of words, but he isnt a professor of english, what he really means is "after an ai model has been fully trained , it cannot be fully explained mathematically, what that means is that, we cannot write out the complete mathematical function(equation) that will fully represents the AI Model at that point because of the complexity" he is referring to the explainability of LLM, it doesnt mean that those who created them cannot explain how it works.. Most people would take that statement to mean that the AI Engineers are just rolling technical dices and doing random stuffs hoping that the AI they build will perform well. Thats not what it means please.
