Well covered subject! On the disability matter here's my opinion: yes, I support any initiative to help and provide tools for disabled artists! Imagine large sum of money spent on funding medications, treatments and other direct benefits for the disabled? (and by extend everyone) Would be rad to let the blind being able to see the world wonders, to give the deaf the chance to ear mesmerizing music, to give the people with chronic disorders the ability to work without suffering pain/exhaustion issues, etc... I genuinely hope we would get close to achieve that. With that said there's something inspiring about disabled people who overcame or worked within their own limitations. A blind person could rely on their other available senses. Music or sculpture are the ones that come in mind to me but apparently it didn't stop some blind artists to paint anyway! That's so rad! Humans are so resourceful! Meanwhile the GenAI providers chose to burn billions to scrape pictures all over the internet, overwork underpaid workers in poor countries, made huge expensive computers servers and so many other suspiciously expensive nonsense... all to promote an automated worker who would do all the heavy lifting for you. Even measured generously wide, the sum of my most beloved pieces of media wouldn't go far above a billion of dollars. I'm disgusted by the sheer waste of resources.
