You can absolutely take a fresh large language model training on your own artwork and have it produce original work and some people have some artists have even created artwork for AI to study. The problem is not AI it’s the companies it’s Google Google loves to claim that they wouldn’t be able to create their large language models that they didn’t steal copyright material but your goddamn motherfucking Google you can absolutely hire a bunch of artists to train your large language model on and use that to generate your AI art from there again several artists who are independent have done just that Trained large language models on their own art to expedient their own workflow. Generative AI is just a tool and it’s also a tool that keeps costing Google money that they’re making no profit off of it in the not too distant future. The AI bust will come.
