What I want to see is artists making AI tools the way we've been making custom brushes. I want to be able to draw X number of maple trees and make that the sole database of an AI to draw from and then have it generate new ones after that.
It won't save much work, but I'm sure there's an application for this somewhere in which the AI is built from the ground up using only in-house sources and I'm frankly disappointed that Extra Credits didn't look at those possibilities.
