Seriously. This whole discussion is about efficiency.
I really wanted to watch the movie Minari (Amazon), about the Korean family that moves to rural Arkansas to farm. But its very difficult to get past the scenes where they are determining the chicks' sex. Just an assembly line production, male chicks separated and dumped in chimney fire.
Someday 'humanity' will value all life. Then it may actually deserve the title.
