Listening to the BGM made me realize that the current situation is metaphorically similar to that of the anime in some ways.
AI shares some similarities with the parasites. It is in a learning phase but still has an edge over humans. Rather than being emotional, it thinks rationally, which helps it make better decisions. Its learning speed is maybe a trillion times faster than ours.
On the bright side, we can imagine the wonders possible if AI and humans work together, just like in the anime.
