AI was an upcoming issue for at least half a decade and governments failed to legislate safeguards while the biggest companies in the world gathered mass amounts of data to feed the beast before it was released. Its too late now. AI is in both the public and private environments. Its rapidly being inserted into every aspect of life... unrestrained. Protections for human workers needs enactments now or never.
