because we arent trying for efficiency?? we're trying to express ourselves??? we aren't doing art because it makes us a lot of money we do it for the love of art, the slow things you find tedious i find theraputic, the slow, tedious work of paintin each individual blade of grass may be boring to someone who has not learned how to do so but to someone who has it adds a sould to what would otherwise be a souless painting. we refuse ai because making art "faster" removes what we enjoy: the slow build towards an emotional expression of who we are, we yell into the void to let others know we were here.
