I hate that we misuse the term "AI." What we have now is not, nor has ever been, true artificial intelligence. What we have today is an overglorified chatbot that cannot think for itself, only fool the gullible. It's a techbro scam where they bought an obscenely large amount of computer parts and seek to justify their investment by forcing the product down the throats of the commonfolks to reimburse themselves. I don't even know if humanity will ever achieve true AI, and I don't care how much work was put into the science, for if it's not true AI, it's still not true AI and doesn't deserve the title.
