Issue with these counters is that AI will be simply trained with poisoned art to detect it and innoculate against it. To my knowledge, there are multiple lawsuits agains image-generating (and other - LLM steal every written word, for example) AIs. Winning these lawsuits is pretty much only your hope to have real change. Not all is dark, though. There is good news - you can get only so much from something that is essentially very, very fancy autocomplete algorithm that is called "AI" for marketing purposes. They are already at stage of squezzing blood from stone, where diminshing returns compounds diminishing returns. Why do you think these parasites now want literal trillions for their pet projects?
