The sad thing is that AI users often will argue that AI imaging doesn’t work the way we think it does. But if you ask them they can’t explain anything that doesn’t contradict their claims.
And example of this would be a comment I put on a video on the topic of AI by LavenderTowne. I said AI artists do not understand the hours we put into our work, and I made it a point that if I were to compare two AI generated “pieces” I wouldn’t be able to distinguish which “artist” generated which image.
An AI artist replied saying I don’t understand that generating AI images does take hours, and didn’t even touch my second listed point.
Yes AI imaging takes hours… FINDING IMAGES TO FEED INTO THE MACHINE. They don’t spend those hours guiding a pen on a piece of paper, they instead spend that time to look for images by people who spent hours drawing, painting, inking, etc, by hand, to create, just to get an actual image of low quality within three seconds
