AI has already replaced *a lot* of programmers. I think assuming you're safe unless you have* spent years and decades is an ignorant take. We just watched the tech sector drop tens of thousands of staff in less than a year. Working with those companies the quiet honest answer is.... loads of folks have already been replaced.
It's not about replacing everyone, rather recognizing that those devs who do* have serious skills need to integrate this into their workflows & thought process before a random 14 year old comes in and obliterates your speed & efficiency averages with new & workflows you've never even seen- deploying dozens of agents at once. It's not binary.
