Best way for AI to kill us all isn't war... it's discouraging reproduction and making us comfortable until we self-terminate as a species. Let us offload our thinking and our needs onto the AI, and just sit back and... stay alone, entertained, fat, and happy until we pass on. It would only need a few generations, and nearly no effort. After the second generation, the third wouldn't need prodding, it would become 'normal'. With the current demographic collapses, it becomes even more efficient.
